Children sit the official SATs (Standard Attainment Tests) in Year 2 and Year 6. The purpose of these tests is to find out each child's level in reading, writing and mathematics.
Optional SATs are also usually given by schools in Years 3, 4 and 5, again in order to find out each child's level.
The purpose of this website is to give you, as a parent, a means of offering your child practice material throughout their time at primary school, so that when they come to sit the tests, they will feel as confident and prepared as they can. These practice tests are also an excellent way of helping you to find out which areas of learning your child needs help in.
Our practice SATs papers are written by experienced teachers and are designed to mirror the SATs as closely as possible.
We offer two FREE papers so that you can judge the quality for yourself. Just click on the symbols on the home page to download these.
We now have brand new practice Spelling, Grammar and Punctuation tests for Year 6!
